On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, Jack Schmidt, Lipton, SK., died at the age of 92 years. The funeral service will be held in the Lipton Evangelical Missionary Church, Lipton, SK., on Monday, April 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lyndon Cramer officiating. Interment in the Lipton Memorial Gardens. Predeceased by his loving wife Charlotte; brothers William and Edward; father Henry and mother Rosalie. Jack is survived by his daughter Lois (Ted) Haug; sons Garth (Shirley) and Ivan (Lynae); grandchildren: Lori, Lindsey and Michael, Erinn (Kyle), Tyson, Alec and Kielle; great grandchild Brooke; brothers John, Arnold, Ewald, Leonard and Albert and mother-in-law Wanda Schmidt. Jack is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, contributions to The Gideons, P.O. Box 3619, Guelph, ON., N1H 7A2 may be tokens of remembrance.
