Janice Mary Schnieder

Janice was predeceased by her husband Paul Schnieder; parents Robert and Annette Spencer (nee Standing Buffalo); 3 infant siblings; siblings: Myrna and Alex Ashdohonk, Henry and Victoria Spencer, Geraldine and Vincent Ryder and Winston Spencer; son Clarence Robert Spencer (aka Jaws); grandson Evan Spencer; nephew/brother Cameron Spencer and many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her siblings Edna Spencer of Carry The Kettle First Nation and Robert (Bobby) Spencer of Indian Head, SK; her children: Candace Spencer of Regina, SK, Kimberly Spencer of Regina, SK, Lyle Spencer (Lavina McCarthur) of Kisby, SK, Carter & Shawnee Spencer of Carry The Kettle First Nation, Colin Spencer of Weyburn, SK and Linda & Ted Knight of Calgary, AB; 25 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; special granddaughter Juanita Langan; nieces; nephews and friends.

A wake will be held in Carry The Kettle First Nation Community Centre, Carry The Kettle First Nation on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the same location on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Elder Tim Eashappie. The pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons. A traditional and Mormon interment will follow in the Middle Cemetery, followed by a feast.
