Keith was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on November 25, 1938. He worked and lived on the family farm until his teens. He loved to walk to the neighbours farms to learn how to play piano and cribbage. Keith left the family farm to pursue his career in the oil patch. Once a driller, he moved on to his career with Majestic Wiley pipeline contractors as a boom band and winch truck operator. He also ran a store at Grenfell Beach, Majestic TV Services and he built and ran the Grenfell Room family restaurant with Marlene. He worked all across Canada, except Quebec, providing for his family. Keith always led by example, showing that hard work pays off in life. A quality he taught to everyone he knew. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and friends at Crooked Lake.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date in the Grenfell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
