Leota was predeceased by her parents Archie and Lillian Stanley; paternal grandparent Mary Stanley; maternal grandparents Francis and Maggie Bigknife; husband Clifton Conrad George; brothers: Bernard, Gary, Robert Stanley and Frank Buffalocalf; sisters Eunice Stanley and Baby Marie; brothers-in-law: Denton, Kimberlaine, Johnson, Ernest and Douglas George; sisters-in-law Athenia and Patricia George; son Ivan Belanger; daughter June Goforth; grandchild Acasha Aisaican and nephew Samuel Watson.

The wake was held in the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex, Ochapowace Nation on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed in Ochapowace Nation Cemetery.
