It is with heavy hearts and sorrow that we announce that our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son and brother Harold Lloyd Lerat was called home by the Creator on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the age of 76 years.

Lloyd was predeceased by his: father Joseph Harold Lerat; brothers Frank and Danny; sister Lynn; son Ryan Aisaican; nephews Jimmy Dean and Tyler Blue and granddaughter Cali Jane.

Lloyd is survived by his: wife of 43 years Lillian Lerat (nee Assiniboine); son Christopher (Roberta); stepsons Ryan and Joe; stepdaughter Luana; Angelica, whom they raised as their own daughter; mother Rosaline; brothers: Terry (Darlene), Faron (Agnes) and Wes; sisters: Irene Andreas (Ray), Doreen, Maureen, Kay, Linda and Michelle (Johnny); 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would also like to acknowledge those that Lloyd considered family: late brother Rook Sparvier, sisters Gaylynn Sparvier and Rosie Haywahe; his hunting family whom he also considered brothers: Stan Delorme, Bill Desnomie and the American hunters that he knew over the years.

A traditional wake was held in Cowessess First Nation Community Hall on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service and celebration of life was held in the same location on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Elder Sam Isaac of Ochapowace First Nation. The pall bearers were Dean Lerat, Ryan Redwood, Joshua Lerat, Connor Lerat, Preston Lerat and Aidan Redwood. The interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
