Lonnie was predeceased by his beautiful daughter Erin Geddes; partner Lorna Stevenson: father Lawrence Geddes; mother Millie Hotomani; twin sister Laurel Geddes; grandparents: Margaret Geddes, Ruth Firemoon and Mike Ryder; brothers Warren Bitternose and Bradley Bitternose and sisters Danita Bitternose and Kietha Bitternose.
He is survived by his brother Lyle Bitternose; sisters: Renee Geddes, Robyn McKay (Bill McKay) and Ronnie Runns (Cary Runns) & Arlene Kechego; his favorite grandbaby Mykayla Huntinghawk; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous great/grandkids (too many to mention).
He will be greatly missed.
The wake was held in George Gordon Gymnasium, George Gordon First Nation on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service was held in George Gordon Gymnasium on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Bill McKay and Shaun Assoon Sr. officiating. Interment followed in St. Luke's Cemetery, George Gordon First Nation.
