Loretta Odelia Moyse, of Sedley, SK, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years under the light of the full moon. The angels came and guided her to heaven early on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

Loretta was predeceased by her son Darryl Moyse; her parents George and Monica Weinberger and brothers: Andy, Lorence, Paul and Kenneth.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Richard of 64 years; her daughter Maxine (Keith McKellar), grandsons Kyle (Bri’Anne) and Kory; son Keith Moyse, granddaughters Dawn Moyse and Tanya (Devan Mitchell); son Ross Moyse; son Lee (Gwen Moyse), grandchildren Eric Price (Tali Bessey), Olivia (Cody Statham), and Sam; daughter Tammy Moyse, grandsons Tyler Zaba (Lindsay Ledingham) and Mitchell Zaba (Dorris) along with 12 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother Ronald Weinberger (Helen), Richard’s family and numerous nieces, nephews and dear family friends.

Loretta was born on August 20, 1940 in Regina, SK. When she was 13 years old, she moved to Sedley, SK where she met Richard. She was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother. Loretta resided on the family farm all of her life where she farmed alongside with Richard and raised their family. She loved sewing, crocheting and quilting. She drove school bus, chauffeured many a hockey team around the prairies over the years. She was also on many town boards and committees throughout her life. She loved singing with the church choir and sang with the Sweet Adelines for many years.

We are grateful for the care she received in her last few weeks in Regina Pasqua and Indian Head Hospitals.

The funeral service will be held in Our Lady of Grace Church, Sedley, SK on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
