Mae was born in Wolseley, SK on October 19, 1936. She attended school in Wolseley until Grade 10. She took her Special Care Aide course and worked at Wolseley Memorial Union Hospital, Grenfell Union Hospital and Grenfell Pioneer Home. She was a member of Grenfell United Church where she helped on various committees, as well as the UCW making pies and cabbage rolls for the fall suppers. She was known for her dill pickles, cabbage rolls and perogies and we are thankful she passed down her recipes to the next generation.
Mae was most proud of her family. She always kept up to date on what everyone was doing and attended as many events as she could. Mae always had her camera ready and pictures of her family in her purse so she could share what she was most proud of.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
