

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Maggie Sebastian, our beloved Mom, Grandma and Nana. Maggie (Ripplinger) was born in Kendal, Saskatchewan district on September 3,1934 and passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024 at the age of 89.
Maggie was predeceased by her husband George Sebastian in 2010.
She is survived by her 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Shirley Janeczko (Tony); Alison Lewis (Nik), Madison Lutz (Mitch); Kealan, Isaac, Hudson Holowachuk, Aurelia Lewis; Pam Balderston (Dave); Elliott & Drew. Nicole Hayes (Graham); Ashlyn & Holden and her special fur grandpuppy, Rosie.
Marian Bachman (Mel); Thomas (Darcia) Isabelle & Jay; Evan Bachman.
Maggie is survived by her sister Leona (Frank) Knoll; sisters-in-law Mary Ripplinger and Lynn Sebastian and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents John A. and Antonia (Baumgartner) Ripplinger; step-mother Anne (Lenius); brothers Chris (Angeline) Ripplinger and Edward; sisters Annie (August) Weichel and Clara (Edward) Kress along with many brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law. Maggie will be missed in the hearts of her family and those whose lives she touched.
A celebration of life funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Montmartre, Saskatchewan on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Francis (Prince) Kurisinkal.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maggie’s memory may be made to Montmartre Senior Centre, Box 483, Montmartre, S0G 3M0 or The Cemetery Fund, Sacred Heart Parish, Box 247, Montmartre, S0G 3M0.
