Raymond Wood

Raymond worked for CP Rail for forty years and was still currently working part time as a guard at the RCMP detachment. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Melva Wood and sister and brother-in-law Donna and Niels Westergaard. He is survived by his loving wife Janet, who he married on March 9, 1974; his children Susan (Jerome Loewen) and David (fiancée Jody Skinner); grandchildren Lanna, Luke, and Elsa Loewen; niece Sonya (Harvey) Giesbrecht and their children Sorena (son Jace) and Easton Giesbrecht; and nephew Doug Westergaard.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Broadview Community Centre with Pastor Marvin Mountney officiating (Broadview Mission Church). Interment to follow in the Broadview Cemetery.
