Robert Earl Adams

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa Robert. Robert Earl Adams passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 the age of 86 years.

Robert was born on July 27, 1938 to Hugh and Eva Adams. He was the second of four children: Deanna, Irene (both deceased) and his brother Donald. As a young man Robert worked briefly for Dominion Bridge before returning home to take over the family farm. It was at this point that he met the love of his life, a cute little red head named Caroline McPherson.

The couple were married on October 7, 1961. They moved into the old farm house where Robert was raised. It was here where he and Caroline started growing their family: daughter Brenda (Calvin) and their families: Shayne (Amy) and their daughter Leighton, Stephanie (James) and their children Anika, Kyran and Declan, Mason (Laura) Beau and Hayes and Dylan (Meghan); son Blair (Lynnette) and their families: Janelle (Murray) and their children Branden, Easton and Leah and Justine (Cody) Avery; daughter Shelly (Dave) and their family Kinnen (Kursten) Jackson and William; daughter Shannon (Larry) and their families Austin (Camille) and their children Hugh and Jake, Shelby (Ty) and Cheyenne (Triston).

Robert is also survived by a long time family friend Mike Braddock whom dad travelled miles with picking up machine parts.

Robert always made sure there were fun things to do at the farm, whether it was horses, motorbikes, or skidoos to ride. He worked hard but also enjoyed all sorts of fun activities with his kids and later on his grandkids. Farming, cattle, side by side rides & fishing were just some of the things Robert valued. He was extremely proud of the fact that he harvested for 65 years.

Robert was an interesting, loving man and his loss will impact his family along with many that he touched alone the way.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
