Ruth Alberta Hahn

Ruth Alberta Hahn (nee Harrison) passed away peacefully in the Wolseley Memorial Hospital on August 19, 2015 with family at her side. She was 80 years of age. The funeral service will be held in Peace Lutheran Church, Grenfell, Sask. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gerald Bruce Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Grenfell Cemetery. Her childhood years were spent on the family farm near Baring; at the age of thirteen the family moved to Grenfell where Ruth lived the rest of her life. She was predeceased by her mother Constance Harrison and her father Victor Harrison, a sister Dorothy Hunter, a nephew Murray Hunter, brothers in law Jeffery Hunter and Geoff Holthouse; left to mourn her loss will be George, her husband of sixty four years; a daughter Denise and a son Greg; grandchildren Jessica (Chris) and Francis; a sister Lois and many nieces and nephews. Ruth will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her for her loving caring, dynamic personality. She was a fun-loving, incredibly energetic person who loved nothing better than being surrounded by her friends and family. She was extremely hard working and excelled at each task she undertook, whether in the home or community. She will be greatly missed.
