Victoria Erza

Vicky grew up on a farm near Mutrie, SK. She married Mike in 1951 and they farmed for nearly 60 years near Candiac until she moved into the Montmartre Health Care Centre on November 12, 2010.

Vicky was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa McLeod; her parents John and Agnes Rokita; sisters Frances Cooney and Rose Roth; niece Lorraine Kanda; nephew Allan Cooney; parents-in-law John and Pearl Erza; brothers-in-law: Steve Erza, Joe Jurzyniec and Walter Romanow and Jack Roth. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Mike Erza; daughters Sandy (Greg) Wallace, Margaret Elliott (Bobby Webster); sons Andrew (Grace), Garry and Brian; grandchildren: Kim (Tim) Rose and their children Colby, Gracyn, Carson and Mykenna, and Kendrick; Clayton and Kent; Raelene (John) Kuffner and children Kennedy and Kamdyn, Dustin (Sarah) and children Noah and Talia; Hayley Erza and Ian Erza; sisters-in-law: Bertha Romanow, Frances Jurzyniec and Janet Erza; brother-in-law Joe (Irene) Erza, as well as many nieces and nephews , their families and friends.

Vicky loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, reading, doing crafts, playing cards, volunteering for church functions and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank all of the staff of the Montmartre Health Care Centre for their heartfelt compassion shown to Vicky.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Joseph R.C. Church, Candiac, SK, by Rev. Aguinaldo Fermo. Interment in the Candiac Cemetery. Prayers for family and friends will be held in the church on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
