

Victoria was predeceased by her husband Thomas; granddaughter Lacey Victoria; son-in-law Richard Schmeling; sisters: Helen Viedenheimer, Anne Englot and Rita Hornung; brothers: Stanley, Frank and Bernard Borowski.
She is survived by her brother Joseph (Nettie) Borowski; son Gerald (Debra) and family Thomas, Samantha (Travis), Rory, Nate and Luke; son Michael; son Christopher (Debra) and family Roxanne, Dylan, Cheralynn (Marty), Raylee, Jayda, Ashtyn, Brianna, Lindsey (Matt), Jozee and Lucas; daughter Beverley (Dallas) and family Erin (Tyler), Brea (Todd), Tyson, Logan, Drayden and Cody.
Victoria was born in Glenavon in 1928 to Anton and Rosalia Borowski. The family moved to Guelph, Ontario and farmed for many years before moving back to Glenavon.
Victoria was always involved in farming and had a love of the land, all farm animals and had a green thumb. She was well known for her artistry, culinary skills and enjoyed sewing as well. Her home was always open to family and friends.
Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them, listening to their stories and sharing her stories and one-liners. She will be missed by many people who knew and loved her.
A funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary by Rev. Francis (Prince) Kurisinkal. The interment followed in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers were: Dylan Florek, Thomas Florek, Travis Greenbank, Todd MacEwan, Matt Weichel and Marty Weichel.
