He is survived by his sister Frances Stein and fondly remembered by his nephew Barry Stein (Colleen) and his niece Elizabeth Keller (Darson). Also survived by great-nieces and nephews: Andrea Malinowski (Jason), Robert Stein, Graham Keller (Casey) and Sarah Keller and 6 great-great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents William Jeffs and Matilda (Smallpiece) and brother-in-law George Stein.
Billie had a love of farming and dedicated his life to working on the family farm. He was always willing to help a neighbour with any farming needs. He was a talented mechanic and enjoyed doing repairs. Billie loved his farm animals especially the many horses he had over the years. He cared for the community he lived in and donated generously to many organizations.
The funeral service was held in the Tubman Funeral Home Chapel, Wolseley on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lorne Bonk officiating.
