Al was born in Montgomery, Alabama on September 5, 1926. He passed away on February 5, 2015 at the age of 88. Al was united in marriage to Arlette Kleinvachter on May 14, 1955. He was a longtime employee of the State of Minnesota highway department. Al is survived by wife of 59 years, Arlette; brother, Donald (Mary); many in-laws; nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM Tuesday 2/10/15 at Church of the Guardian Angels, 8260 4th St. N., Oakdale, MN 55128. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to donor's choice.
