Anne L. Kaiser

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jean Kaiser of Wheeling, WV and Venice, FL; her aunts, uncles, and cousin Sue Rodenbaugh.

She is survived by sister Barbara (Tom) Zohn; brothers David (Judy) Kaiser and John (Amanda) Kaiser; sister-in-law Lui Kaiser; stepsons Tim Sellers and Mitchell Sellers; nieces Bridget (David) Anderson, Michele (Charles Clotiaux) Zohn, and Katie Kaiser; nephews Tim (Stephanie) Kaiser, Christopher (Haylie) Kaiser, Justin Kaiser, and Collin Kaiser; great-niece Sara Jean; great-nephews Ryan, Lucas, Jacob, and Benjamin; many loving cousins; and an incredible circle of friends in Minnesota, Colorado, and West Virginia.

Anne was a humorous, free-spirit who was not afraid to take risks, try new adventures, and share her love of life with all who knew her. Her family and friends meant everything to her, and the time she spent with them contributed to her full and independent life. Anne was a role model to her stepsons, nieces, and nephews – teaching them to believe in themselves, take chances and do what makes them happy.

In 2013, Anne was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a rare neurodegenerative disorder with symptoms similar to Parkinson disease, but causes widespread damage to the part of the nervous system that controls important functions, such as heart rate and blood pressure.

While the disorder slowly took many things away from Anne, it never dampened her spirit or softened her laughter...things by which she’ll always be remembered.
