She was born September 13, 1939 in Cokato, MN to parents Ernest and Elvera Klammer. In 1966 she married Charles Forrest and in 1976 she gave birth to a son named Charles Ernest. Ardys worked doing administrative duties for the family's heating business. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and spending time with the family at the cabin.
Her family includes her son, Charlie Forrest and his fiance Sonja Westercamp of Hudson, WI; sister Maxine Rokala of Dassel, MN; brother and wife, David and Karen Klammer of Long Lake, MN; brother Brad Klammer of Lakeland, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Ardys was preceded in death by her husband Charles Forrest, her sister Alene Smith and another sister in infancy.
A visitation will be held on February 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, located at 2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125, United States. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue, commencing at 11:00 am.
