

Passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015. She was born Feb. 7, 1923. Preceding her in death were her husband, Clifford Skillings; brothers, Warren (Bud) and Donald Fuller. She is survived by sisters, Harriet Lundgren and Donna Gartland; son, Roland Skillings (Sherry); grandchildren, Derek Skillings (Kristi) and great -grandchildren Noah and Terah; Aimee LeTourneau (Paul) and great-grandchildren, Alec and Victoria; Sarah DeFore (Dan) and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Braeden and Emmalina; Granddaughter, Megan Skillings; Son, Russell Skillings (Cyndi), grandchildren, Keara McCarthy (Josh Rautenberg) and great-grandson, August Rautenberg. Betty graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School, worked at Setchell-Carlson TV and MedTronic. Upon retirement she spent summers in Garrison, Minnesota, where she invited friends from across the US and Canada to a five day reunion; and winters in Mission, Texas where she raised money for the Sisters of Charity Colonia Project and was honored with an annual golf tournament, named for her, benefiting the Colonia. There will be a memorial service for Betty at Lutheran Church of Peace in Maplewood, MN on Friday, Dec. 4, Light of the Cross in Garrison on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 11 am as well as a service at Bentsen Grove, TX in February.
