

Daniel was born to Daniel Boyd and Joy Lorraine Madland. Daniel was a graduate of Tartan Senior High School class of 1988, and went on to excel in carpentry studies at St. Paul Technical College. Afterward, he spent most of his life employed in the family business at Carver General Repair.
Daniel was one of a kind, often seen living life to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman. Daniel will best be remembered for his hilarious sarcastic wit, his unmistakable deep voice, his love for old cars, trucks, Seinfeld, Dobermans, and his natural cologne of motor oil.
Daniel is survived by parents: Daniel and Joy. Ex-Wife: Kari. Three children: Garrett, Erica, and Dylan. One Granddaughter: Maisie Rae. Two sisters: Dawn (Peggy), and Deborah. One brother: Dennis (Sandy). Nieces and Nephews: Sophie (Jordan), Audrey, Gracie, Bo, Luca, and Levi. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him.
Daniel was preceded in death by grandparents: Glen and Lola Madland, Harold and Helen Carver. Uncles and Aunts: Larry Madland, Roger Madland, Harold Carver, Jr., Joan Madland, and Teresa Madland. He was also met at the gates of heaven by his beloved dobermans: Mystic, Dior, and Sinbad.
A funeral mass for Daniel will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th Street North, Oakdale, Minnesota 55128, with a visitation one hour prior. Following the funeral mass will be an interment at Guardian Angels Catholic Church Cemetery, 8260 4th Street North, Oakdale, Minnesota 55128.
