Passed away surrounded by family on April 9, 2012. Preceded in death by father, Lewis. Survived by loving wife of 37 years, Candice; daughter, Nicole (Joe) Tacheny; son, Bryan; grandchildren; Owen Tacheny and baby boy Hostrawser due May 30th; mother, Frances; sisters, Judy Parent, Karen (Chuck) Zweber; brothers, Eric (Carole), Jim (Debbie); many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Dave was the epitome of a family man. A generous and caring man that will be greatly missed by many. David proudly served his country as a 24 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. He served the City of Saint Paul for over 20 years as a plumber for the Parks and Recreation Department. His legacy of caring and generosity will live on through those he loved and those who loved him. Celebration of Life service 10:30AM Monday, 4/16/12, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 2410 Stillwater Rd. E, Maplewood. Visitation 4-8PM Sunday at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr, Woodbury and 1 hour prior at church Monday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
