Deanne was born on July 4, 1957 with fireworks, a birthday that fit perfectly with her personality. She grew up in South St. Paul, MN with her four sisters. She was a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, Greg, and they married at 23. Eight years later they adopted their son, Tim. She worked at 3M in their IT department for 42 years and loved volunteering at 2nd Harvest Heartland throughout retirement.
She was always smiling, laughing, and having fun. She put everyone else’s needs ahead of hers and was always trying to find a way to make other people happy. Deanne was a phenomenal cook who loved to entertain and always prepared enough food to feed 50 people. She loved her romance novels and movies, shopping, playing cards for hours, was always on a bowling team, and loved Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Deanne and her husband Greg enjoyed trips to Hawaii, visiting family in New York, and spending summers at the family cabin in Motley, MN on Lake Shamineau. She was the best mother a son could ask for, never missing one of his hockey or baseball games, supporting every dream, and always welcoming over friends.
Deanne’s passion for always making other people feel loved and cared for will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Greg, mother Eileen, and sister Melanie.
