Preceded in death by her husband, Orville, of 54 years and sisters, Agnes, Lucille, Francis and Dorothy. She is survived by her sons, David (Julie), Daniel; daughter, Julie (Dennis); grandchildren, Heather and Maia and many relatives and dear friends.
Doris spent many years in a volunteer capacity at her children's schools in Bloomington and Lakeville. She was also an avid church goer and worked at her local church library in Lakeville. Doris loved gardening, reading and travel.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, September 8 at 2:00 PM at Nine Mile Creek Senior Living, 2301 Village Lane, Bloomington, MN. Memorials are preferred.
