 Please accept my deepest sympathies.  Mr. Berg was my typing teacher and, if not for that, I would not have had the business experiences in life.  He also reinforced my parents teachings of respect for others.
 I use typing skills daily. (Now considered keyboard or data entry.)  From my days in the US Army working for a company commander in personnel administration, to my current career, I have used skills learned from Mr. Berg.
 I am sorry to hear of his passing. If I knew he lived so close by I would have called and told him that many a time.

Mr.Berg was my Secretarial Office Training Teacher and he was my very favorite.  He made it fun to come to class and I will never forget the cute little smirk on his face when he would call us by our last name rather than our first.  I think I learned more about english in that class than I did in the actual english class.  I have thought of him often over the years.  I am sure that your family has many unforgetable memories which will help you to carry on.  He was the best.

I'm glad I had a chance to know him. You are all in my thoughts.

I was so saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Berg.  He was the best teacher I ever had.  He taught us patience, respect for each other and most importantly, not to take life too seriously.  His sense of humor and affable personality made it a pleasure to go to school everyday. Rest in peace, dear Mr. Berg; you will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Berg Family.

I had the pleasure of having both Mr. & Mrs. Berg as teachers in St. Paul and not until later on in years did I fully appreciate the influence and role they had during my formative years as a 4th grader and later on as a teenager (I hope I wasn’t too awful).

Mr. and Mrs. Berg taught with patience and persistence and it turn expected their students to demonstrate hard work, initiative, manners and respect without having to really voice it.   How did they do that anyway.....must be some kind of super secret teaching method that nobody else knows of. 

I think we all have those one or two teachers that we never forget because they’ve touched our life and made a lasting impact; whether it’s pounding the multiplication table into our head or repositioning our clumsy hands correctly on the typewriter.   I am truly thankful to have had both as teachers and so very grateful that both chose education as their career paths.
God Bless and know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers; Mr. Berg will be missed.

Mr. Berg was a GREAT teacher and tremendous person!
He was one of my favorite teachers.  He had such a great sense of humor and really worked well with teenagers!  My sympathy to you and your family.

My younger brother,Les, was a good brother and the youngest of six boys.  The war brought us on separate paths  in life but we still stayed close and he never forgot is alma mater, Grand Meadow High Schooj.  Though I can't be with the family on this day our heart and ptayers will be with you

Mr. Berg was a wonderful teacher - great personality and sense of humor. I cannot count the number of times over the years he has come to mind while I've typed or filed.  I am so saddened by his passing.
