Passed away at age 88, peacefully on April 6, 2014. Survived by children, Mark (Kelli), Larry (Susan), Dane (Karen) and Karen (James) Novak; five grandchildren; preceded in death by wife Ruth, parents, and four sisters. Awarded the Purple Heart for wounds sustained on Iwo Jima in WW2. Proud Marine. Successful business owner and salesman. Skilled gardener and chef. Funeral service 11AM Thursday 4/10 at WULFF WOODBURY FUNERAL HOME, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury with a visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
