Passed away surrounded by her family, went home to God on 9/4/11, the date of her 57th wedding anniversary. Survived by her beloved husband, Tom; daughter, Theresa; sons, Dan (Gina) & Pat (Geri); grandmother of Danielle, Matthew, Andrew, Lindsey & Shawn. A long time retired employee of 3M. Joan was a loving, kind & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She will be deeply missed. Heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers at The Pillars Hospice Home & the Healtheast Hospice staff. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, 9/9/11 at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2119 Stillwater Ave., St. Paul. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, 9/8/11 & 1 hour prior to Mass, all at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Pillars Hospice or the charity of your choice.
