John G. Preston

John G. Preston died quietly in his home on August 7th, 2018 surrounded by loving family. John was a longtime employee of the Ford plant in St. Paul Minnesota. He was a hardworking family man that loved trailer camping in the northwoods and family gatherings. He is survived by wife Marilyn (Hudson) Preston; children Debra (Steve) Cherney; David Preston, Jackie (Ulrik) Berthelsen; Stepchildren Teresa (Richard) Sahli, Jody( Wayne) Rood, Debra (Steve) Larson, Michael (Jennifer) Truman, Kathleen (Al) Pfannenstein; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews; brothers Wesley (Donna) Preston and Douglas Preston. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Dorothea (Sarau) Preston, brothers Charles (Lydia) Preston, William (Nora) Preston, Eugene (Carol) Preston and Robert "Bob" (Franny) Preston; sisters Ihleen (Eddie) Boyd, Dorothea (Tom)Blaha, Margaret (Marnie) Skara, and MaryAnn (Rupert ‘Babe’) Walters.
