Marie Arlene Shimon

Marie Arlene Shimon, of Woodbury, MN, Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Age 90, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, January 20, 2024, after an eight-year battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Marie is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert, parents Hiram and Marie (Mary) Peterson, brother David Peterson.

She is survived by her three children; Roger (Lori), Nancy Pascutoi (Ken), Ronald (Cathleen); eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Graduate of Harding High School - Class of 1950.

The family is forever grateful for the wonderful and compassionate care of Artis of Woodbury, Midwest Hospice and Bluestone Physican Services. Marie taught us how to persevere and give back to her community by volunteering for countless organizations. She will always be remembered by her never-ending smile.

Funeral Service will be Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:00 am with Visitation one hour prior to service, from 10 - 11 AM at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury, MN 55125. A light lunch will follow the service at the funeral home. Private Interment at Union Cemetary, Maplewood.

Donations in her honor are preferred in lieu of flowers.
