So very sorry to learn of Monica's passing.  What a beautiful spirit she had. May God give you all strength as you go through the long grieving process.  Take care of yourselves and each other.

I grew up with Monica in St.Cloud, WI also.  We had a lot of fun times at Wolf Lake and in St. Cloud.  She was a fun, warm and beautiful friend.  You have my deepest sympathy!  My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

What a great picture of Monica!  I, too, was one of the St. Cloud gang.  Monica's mom was my first grade teacher, too.  I remember the day Monica, her mom, and I went to the Old Wade House.  It was my first time in a stagecoach.  We had such fun that day.  Your entire family has my sympathy.

I grew up with Monica in St Cloud, Wi. We shared a great friendship. We parted ways after highschool and when we saw each other at age 50 for a "girl wknd at the Ringeisen cottage on Wolf Lake" we picked up right where we left off. She was that kind of person, warm,loving,a beautiful friend. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

Boss,there is nothing I can say to you that you haven't said to me when I needed to reach INSIDE. The Lord has a plan for us all. Monica was my friend and co-worker at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. She taught me how to love and live, and look out for everyone.  She was also a fantastic listener.  She never gave up, and always asked tons of questions about her treatments.  She never took no as for answer from her doctors, and kept researching alternatives. She was her own best advocate, and taught me always to press on no matter what.  

I already miss her phone calls and e-mails.  She would call to get cheered up, and it was always I who wound up laughing right along with her.  Our conversations always ended in tears of joy.  

Sending hugs to John, Brittany and Justin.  Monica worried about and cared deeply about each and every one of you.  She loved being part of your family and sharing stories about your family's adventures at work.

John, Monica especially marveled at how well you understood the State government bureaucracy, union personnel contracts and how well you took care of her.  She loved sharing the family meals that Brittany and Jimmy cooked, and was very proud of Justin's career, and upcoming wedding.

Monica was always such a ray of sunshine in the office. My condolences to you and your family.

To John, Justin and Brittany, I never knew a person so devoted and passionate about her work and people at MnSCU, Academic & Student Affairs. For well over twenty years, Monica understood, listened, and heard. She said it how it was. She made everyone feel important and genuinely treasured every path she crossed. I will miss a truly wonderful friend, stories about our work and families, and so many memories. Rest in peace Monica. You were loved by so very many.
