Survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Nathan); son, Bradley (Giustina); grandchildren (Henry and Alice Stoltenow); step-grandsons (Deangelo and Dekell Thomas); mother, Genevieve Wrobel; brothers, Kurt (Loretta) and Steve; sister-in-law, Mary McCoy; and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren (2021); and father, Paul Wrobel (2011).
Pamela was born in Peoria, IL and raised in La Crosse, WI where she met her lifelong friend, Jeanne. At age 14, Pam moved to the Battle Creek neighborhood of St. Paul where she would graduate from Harding High School in 1967. After working as a dental hygienist, Pam went on to a 32-year career she loved as an executive admin at 3M – where she met her husband of 43 years, Warren. Together they traveled and had many adventures.
Following the birth of their daughter and son, they settled in Woodbury. Pam was an active parent, supportive in her children’s studies and activities. She volunteered teaching Sunday School and chaperoning school field trips. Pam was up for all of it. She often supported fellow moms by providing top-notch salsa and snacks at Woodbury Athletic Association softball and baseball games.
When Pam wasn’t cheering from the sidelines, she was making magical memories at Walt Disney World. Her happy place? EPCOT’s World Showcase—sampling fish and chips in England, hibachi meals in Japan— before heading to Magic Kingdom for spooky chills at Haunted Mansion and wild rides on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Pam had a lot of interests – she became known as a master home chef and an original Foodie. If she wasn’t in the kitchen, or tending her gardens (or hair), she was cuddling one of her dogs and making them egg sandwiches. In addition to being a dog-lover, she loved every bird she met. If you had feathers, she had snacks—birdseed in one pocket, bread in her purse, ready for any winged friend who crossed her path.
When Pam retired in 2014 she and Warren bought a home in Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, FL where they spent their winters. After Warren passed in 2021, Pam spent her remaining years making new friends and causing mischief at The Lakes at Stillwater Senior Living community.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home (2195 Woodlane Drive), on Sunday, November 30th. Visitation 11:30am, Service 12:30pm
