To the Family of Pete Wandmacher:

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.  I am very saddened by the death of my friend Pete.  I feel honored he called me just prior.

As this card states he is a miracle that changed the world and made it a better place.

His intelligence and friendship guided me.  He always spoke so proudly of his 
Children, Grandchildren, and Siblings.  I also had the pleasure of working with his brother Mike for many years.  Lots of fun and laughs!  Those two made the work place a wonderful experience.

My Father is now in Hospice and it is just a matter of time before I lose him but I have had some time to cope with it unlike your family.

I am here for you at any time.

Although I knew Pete while working at Economics Laboratory, I never really got to know him until I'd occasionally see him at the VFW posts in No. St. Paul and White Bear Lake. Never knew he was a veteran until then. He was always upbeat and the kind of person that brought  sunshine into one's day.  My condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences to Pete's family. We were classmates at Cretin HS. 

Pete was a great guy. 

I will keep him in my prayers.

My HEARTFELT SYMPATHY to Pete's family on your unexpected loss.  I knew Pete from our days at Economics Laboratory (now Ecolab).  God Bless You at this difficult time.

How sorry I was to read of Pete's death.  My wife and I are on our return trip from TX to MN and are visiting friends in Denver when I read Pete's Obit on line.  Pete and Jim were friends at both Cathedral and Cretin.  Their mom, Julie was one of the finest ladies I've ever known.  I won't make it home in time to hug Janice and Jim, but I do send my warmest, and sincere love and condolences.  Pete was a good man, and we'll all miss him.

To Julie, Mark, Michael and Peter's grandchildren, he was very proud of each and every one of you. I started each day at The Lodge with "Mr. Pete" analyzing the stock market with me and ended by encaging in the game of Jeopardy. I feel as if I know each one of you because daily he shared something. I miss his conversation, mentoring, humor and presence in my Activity Room. Thank you for sharing him with us here at The Lodge. Our heartfelt sympathy.

I worked at the Lodge I saw Pete almost daily and talked with him just as much, I saw him more as a friend than as a resident. He helped me weekly with a Constitutional Law class I am in, and due to his knowledge and guidance I achieved an A. Pete was always someone to go to when you had any concern, and always gave wise advice. Needless to say Pete will be remembered by all who knew him. My condolences to his family, whom he talked of often.

I enjoyed working with Pete at the Department of Revenue. His sense of humor was priceless. My thoughts are with you.

To Pete's family: my deepest sympathy. I knew Pete (and Mike) from the Department of Revenue, and feel truly blessed to have gotten to know them. A real loss for all.
