Ruby J. Vocovich

Born Ruby Jane Kaiser on July 12, 1935 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Gottfried “Fritz” Kaiser and Florida (DeRosier) Kaiser Christianson.

In 1955, she married Michael P. Vocovich and went on to have six children. Her hobbies included gardening, canning, collecting Elvis memorabilia and card parties. She was a sports enthusiast and an avid Vikings and Twins fan. She had a flare for entertaining and took joy in cooking for a crowd. She enjoyed hosting many parties at their home known as the Ruby Hilton on the St. Croix River and loved a good celebration being surrounded by her family and friends.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Lloyd Christianson, her husband Michael, brother Gottfried “Sonny” Kaiser Jr. and brother-in-law Henry Wilhite. She is survived by her six children Patrick (Leane) Vocovich, Deborah (Pete) Lubich, Cheryl (Dave) Cernohous, Gail (Ron) Rychlicki, Richard (Kris) Vocovich, Shannon (Jeff) Parmeter, sister Nancy Wilhite, brothers Dennis (Kathy) and David (Connie) Christianson, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm with Visitation one hour prior to service from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Wulff Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
