Milton Davis Bergthold

Milton was born in Reedley, California on May 26, 1935 to Walter Bergthold and Marjorie Kathryn Davis Bergthold. He was raised and educated in Reedley, graduating from Reedley High School in 1953. Milton attended college in Reedley and Hawaii. In December of 1957 Milton entered the United States Air Force and served until 1976, attaining rank of Master Sargent. He retired after 27 years of service to his country. Milton moved to Woodlake in 2012 to make his home. Milton had several private collections and he enjoyed cooking, fishing and was an avid reader. He also enjoyed watching the Rose Bowl each year. Milton will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Edmond Bergthold and wife Cindy Bergthold of Madera Ranchos, CA and his longtime friends, Frank Stanley and Raymond Reyes, both of Woodlake, CA; and a large extended family.

Wake services will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 3 p.m. He will be laid to rest at San Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine, CA.
