Anthony Sawicky

He was born on November 6, 1962 in New York, NY the son of the late Tony Sawicky and the late Anna Dymterko Sawicky.

Anthony attended St. George Academy High School in New York, NY. He continued his education at St. Johns University in Queens, NY graduating in 1985 with a Bachelor of science degree in Finance . He worked in the finance department for Victoria’s secret in New York, New York.

He enjoyed traveling, spending time at his condo in Miami, eating out and attending Broadway shows in NYC. His favorite rock band was Kiss and he attended every concert performed in NYC. Anthony also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Anthony is survived by: his loving husband, Milton Moreno of Astoria, NY., his three dogs Bella, Bailey and Charlie, his sister Patricia Sawicky Szkambara, his three nieces Ania Szkambara Cataquet, Christine Szkambara and Larysa Szkambara Wright, his great niece Justina Cataquet, Larysa and Justina were also his Godchildren, also several cousins, good friends and colleagues. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lillian Sawicky Biamonte.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas M. Quinn & Sons Funeral home in Astoria, New York.
