Edward Pinkava of Long Island City, New York entered into eternal rest on October 5, 2013. He was born on November 23, 1925 in New York to Nicholas Pinkava and Anna Radocha. Edward will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday October 10, 2013 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 7:00pm - 9:00pm. A funeral mass will take place on Friday October 11, 2013 10:00am at Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery located in Calverton, New York.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Edward's name to either the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) or the Disabled American Vets (dav.org).
