Ernie Califano of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on April 15, 2015. He was born in New York City on February 4, 1961 to his parents Ernest F. Califano and Sandra L. Young. Ernie had a career as an iron worker with Local 46. Ernie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 16, 2015 from 7-9:00pm and on Friday April 17, 2015 from 2-5:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday April 18, 2015 9:30am at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located in Hawthorne, New York.
