Evelyn J. Nicolai a long time resident of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2013. Evelyn was born on January 24, 1918 in New York to Frederick Rau and Elizabeth Aiello. Evelyn will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 8, 2013 from 2-5:00pm & 7-9:00pm. A funeral mass will take place on Monday December 9, 2013 9:30am at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery located in Farmingdale, New York.
