For all who knew her, Florence was larger than life, a dynamo. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High School and loved art. Throughout her life she has always been somewhat of a bohemian; dancing to the beat of her own drum. Mom worked for several large NY companies as a book keeper, later she work for Doctors Bernath and Thomas Weiss in Ridgewood where she was essentially the doctor’s Girl Friday. A strong friendship lasts to this day. Later we all moved to FL where she went back to college and became a certified ward clerk in Daytona Beach. Mom married again and moved to VA then back to NY to an apartment not far from where she grew up. All this time she remained a loving and devoted mother. She loved to laugh, and did so at every opportunity, she enjoyed showing her Boston Terriers and loved to travel; and most especially loved her sons.
Mom’s heart will be forever full of Life and her spirit will always live among us.
Mom - We will miss you beyond words.
