Mr. James Bernard O'Brien

Born on August 15, 1931 to James and Mary (nee Fuller) in New York, NY. Jimmy was a proud graduate of Xavier High School and Saint Peters College. Jimmy married Virginia Fonovich McAndrews at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, East Elmhurst, NY, in 1957. Jimmy served as a Captain in the U.S. Army and enjoyed an accomplished career as a Special Agent of the United States Customs Service and the Internal Revenue Service.

Beloved husband of the late Virginia O’Brien. Loving father of Thomas McAndrews (late Celia), the Late Lawrence McAndrews (Linda), Honorable David McAndrews (Ann), Virginia O’Brien (Michael Brahy) and Susan Lerch (Scott). Proud Grandfather of Tom McAndrews (Kim), Christine Scheu (Michael), Michael McAndrews (Lisa), Kevin McAndrews (Rebecca), Kelly Jones (Jeff), Kara McMahon (Tim), Evan Lerch and Eric Lerch. Caring Great Grandfather of Bradan, Rowan, Jacob, Ryan, Conner, Brady, Jack, and Luke. Cherished Brother of the late Mildred Nowak and the late Leanora Diaz.
