Jim was a loving father to Tracey (Tom), Keri (Kevin) and Jimmy (Fran). Adored grandfather of Tommy, Abby, Hannah, James, Amy, Peyton, Camilla, Victoria and Kevin.
Born and raised in Woodside where he made many lifelong friends. Woodside was his true home and it will always hold a special place in his heart. Graduate of St. Sebastian's School in 1961. Countless memories made over the years planning dinners, football trips, games and the annual Powers BBQ in Hampton Bays.
Jim was a true sports fanatic who never missed his kids' games. You can imagine his joy when the grandkids started playing sports!
His last years weren't easy, but you never heard him complain. He continued to push himself, especially if it involved going out with his friends. He always looked forward to the summer because all of his kids and grandkids would be together making great memories on Wakeman Road!
Thank you to his incredible friends, who loved him as much as we did. Your loyalty and friendship, especially in his final days, will always be cherished.
