Kalliope Halkitis of Long Island City, New York entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2014. Kalliope was born on September 9, 1938 in Kos, Greece to Antonios Hartofilis and Thalia Sinani. Kalliope will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday March 20, 2014 from 2-5:00pm & 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will take place on Friday March 21, 2014 10:30am at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Interment to follow at Saint Michael's Cemetery located East Elmhurst, New York.
