Patricia Anne (Hurley) Belviso Feit

Beloved wife of the late Joseph John Belviso and the late Robert Feit. Loving mother of Joanne Puckett and her husband Michael, John Belviso and his wife Kelly, Thomas Belviso and his wife Lisa, and James Belviso. Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. May she rest in peace

Our mom, Patricia Hurley Belviso Feit, passed away on her 96th birthday. She died peacefully with family at her side. She was predeceased by her first husband of 23 years Joe Belviso, and her second husband of 36 years, Bob Feit. She was a wonderful wife and mother, having raised four children, Joanne, John, Thomas and James, while working nights and weekends as a Registered Nurse in Brooklyn, NY. She also continued her education receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979. This was one of the proudest achievements of her life; that and the successes of all four of her children. When not working or going to school she was transporting her children to numerous activities and sporting events. She was a devout Catholic and ensured her children all went to parochial schools. She was an avid reader, often reading 2-3 books in a week, loved completing the Sunday NY times Crossword Puzzles and watching Jeopardy, often answering most of the clues! In her later years she enjoyed cruising around the world with Bob. She was funny, witty and often times stubborn, but always devoted to her husband(s) and children. She had a great life up to the last few years when her physical and cognitive health declined. When she was flying from Florida to NH with one of her sons after Bob passed away, she commented in her usual witty way, that she hoped the plane would crash so she could be in heaven with her two husbands. Her son said with a smile "that would be ok if I weren’t sitting next to you!” Rest in eternal peace Mom and enjoy the afterlife with your two husbands.
