Born August 23, 1946 in Munich, Germany, Rissa- a proud Ukrainian- lived in France with her mother Maria, father Fedir and sister Nina before moving to Queens, NY, where she met her husband, Mario and had three loving daughters. She was a central figure in her community, cared for the elderly and young across many decades in her work, and was adored by her growing family. A true matriarch, her absence is felt deeply by those who mourn her.
Rissa is survived and terribly missed by her eldest daughter Bernadette; her daughter Nicole and son-in-law Thomas along with her grandchildren Dylan and Vivian; and her daughter Danielle and son-in-law Marco, along with her grandchild Noah.
