Robert Anthony Puppa

Robert Anthony Puppa (1934 to 2017). Robert, Bobby, Bob, Dad, Papa, Pop – however you knew him he was sure to make your day better; his legacy of joy and love is a testament to how he lived. His exuberance for life was contagious, and he lived every day to the fullest. Robert truly loved his wife Patsy, his family and friends, and, post retirement, his golf and golfing buddies. Whether he was playing golf, talking about golf, or watching a game on TV – the most important aspect of the game was always the friends who shared his passion with him. Playing almost every day, with over 200 rounds in many years, Robert made an impressive 6 holes-in-one (with, and without, his driver). Robert will be missed by his grandchildren Catherine, Julia and Sullivan, daughters-in-law Tasha and Melissa, sons Thomas and Robert, and his sister Joan. We wish him all the best on his journey. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday September 30, 2017 at 9:45 AM. Saint Sebastian Church Woodside, NY. Interment to follow at Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery Flushing, NY.
