
Alicia was a deeply cherished wife, mother, Nani, and sister. Her kindness and willingness to help others knew no bounds, and her presence brought comfort to all who knew her. She was a wellspring of wisdom, often sharing knowledge that became invaluable when least expected. As a grandmother, her love and pride were unmatched, forging unique and extraordinary bonds with each of her grandchildren. Her memory will forever be treasured, and her absence will be felt profoundly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maureen Hassett; father, John Hassett; father-in-law, Earl Cook; mother-in-law, Joan Cook; as well as her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Alicia is survived by her devoted husband, Elgie Cook; her son, Evan Cook (Christina Cook); her daughters, Malissa Cook-Hux (Wendy Cook-Hux) and Chelsea Haley (Cory Haley); and her beloved grandchildren, Elias Nottingham, Daughtry Cook-Hux, Crew Cook-Hux, and Lily Cook. She also leaves behind her sister, Bethany Jacobs (Garret Young); sister-in-law, Debra Salas (Rick Salas); nephews and niece, Alexander Jacobs, Branden Salas, and Shyanne Salas; and countless others whose lives she touched with her love and kindness.
Alicia will be remembered for her unwavering love, her selflessness, and the joy she brought to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and always in our hearts.
