Betty was born August 3, 1924 in Nanty Glo, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Stiffler, SR and sons, William R. “Rob” Stiffler, JR and Terry Alan Stiffler.
Devoted military wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves behind her daughters, Sherry Broberg (Steven) of Austin, TX, Susan Medley (Kevin) of Herando, MS and daughter-in-law, Donna Stiffler of Acworth. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed sewing, travel and shopping. She kept everyone entertained with her humor and charm. She loved being a mother and taking care of her family thru all of the military moves and was a long time caregiver for her husband and son.
In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 12:30pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. The family will begin to receive friends at 12:00pm. Betty will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery.
