Carl "Tony" Greene

Mr. Carl “Tony” Greene, 65, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on July 11, 2014 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Blue Ridge, GA on January 17, 1949 to the late Annie Mae and Harold Greene. After high school, Carl moved to the Atlanta area and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Cobb County. He also did carpentry work building houses and was an auto mechanic. He was at one time a member of Rope Mill Baptist Church in Woodstock, GA. In the 90’s, Carl went back home to Blue Ridge. He loved country and gospel music and classic cars. Carl was a devoted father and good friend. He is survived by his son, Tony Greene, his brother, Harold Greene, Jr and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 2:00pm at Woodstock Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
