Carol Turner Wofford

Mrs. Carol Turner Wofford, 78, of Woodstock, GA passed away April 5, 2014. She was born to the late Homer and Leslie Turner on April 25, 1935 in Morganton, GA. Carol retired from Life of Georgia Insurance Company after 38 years as an accounting supervisor. She loved the beach, fashion and writing poetry, but her true loves were her family and friends. She was instantly liked by those who met her and very loved. Carol was a devoted wife, mother and nana. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Donald Wofford. Carol leaves behind her daughter, Lisa Beasley (Scott), son, Bradley Wofford (Lisa), grandchildren, Brett, Baxter, Jackson and Carson Beasley, Brooke, Drake and Sawyer Wofford, siblings, Marlene DeSilets (Ron), Kenneth Turner (Rachel), Lynn Turner (Teresa) and Kathy Currie, aunt, Corene Little and special friends, Charles and Peggy Shiflett. A memorial service will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 12:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church, Morganton, GA. The family will receive friends Monday, April 7, 2014 from 4-7pm at Woodstock Funeral Home.
