Clifford Conner, 73, of Woodstock, passed away on September 25, 2016 in Marietta, Georgia. Clifford was born in Jackson County, North Carolina to Herbert C. Conner & Geraldine Crowe on February 16, 1943. He graduated from Sylva- Webster High School in 1961. He then joined the Air Force in 1961 and traveled extensively to France, Greenland, Newfoundland, The Philippines, Okinawa, and Japan. He was stationed at Stewart AFB in 1962-1963, when he met Carolyn at Shoney’s at Madison, TN. He then went to work for Lockheed in 1965. Clifford married Carolyn on November 22, 1965. He left Lockheed in 1975 and worked for various x-ray companies, such as, Phillips, Siemens, and Wellstar. Clifford leaves behind his wife, Nancy Carolyn Conner; Daughter & Son-In-Law; Kimberly Ann & Johnny Chatman; and two Grand Children; Conner John Chatman & Kayleigh Lynn Chatman. He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, and Brother of Sylva North Carolina. Arrangements under the direction of Woodstock Funeral Home, Woodstock, GA.
