Ellen Rosemary Light

Rosemary was born June 1st, 1932 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Clara (Buehner) and David Lestlie Fahl. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1950 and married her high school sweetheart, Walter Light, on July 8th, 1956.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter Laurie (Alex) of Canton, Georgia; son Steven (Kristin) of Woodstock, Georgia; grandchildren Erin, Andrew and Emily, all of Woodstock, Georgia; sisters Dorothy (Chuck) Eicher of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Barbara (John) Dunham of Somerset, Kentucky; and brother George (Sandi) Fahl of Bucyrus, Ohio; plus many nieces and nephews. Rosemary was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Walter, her parents, an infant son, and her sister Ruth.

Because of Walter’s employment with Bendix Corporation the family lived overseas in Paris, France and Mexico City, Mexico, and traveled extensively. After retirement Walter and Rosemary lived in Sarasota, Florida and Palm Coast, Florida where she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Bunnell, Florida. While in Florida Rosemary enjoyed many sailing adventures with Walter, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, August 11th at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 129 W. Charles Street, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.
